A classic yacht regatta - a wonderful occasion and fabulous opportunity to see a piece of yachting history.
See traditional, vintage and classic yachts and the magnificent modern or spirit of tradition classics of today all under full sail. There are family-run boats and groups of friends and others with experienced and top international race crew. As a charterer take part in the sailing or enjoy the splendid sights as the yachts go by - don't miss the opportunity of a lifetime.
The Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta, a major international yachting event and part of the Panerai Classic Yacht Challenge, draws some of the most beautiful and graceful sailing vessels ever built - schooners, gaffed rigged boats, yawls and magnificent ketches and sloops. The 2011 event was highly successful with 61 entrants ranging from the 24ft Springtide to the mighty180ft new Spirit of Tradition ketch Marie. The 1957 Marconi ketch Lone Fox chartered through Antigua Yacht Charters Ltd., was awarded the much prized Panerai Trophy and the stunning and special edition Panerai Timepiece.
The 2012 Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta, 19th to 24th April will be the 25th. It will be very special. Come and join us for this very classic regatta.
